Smiling as he watched Logan, he gestured for the seat that Jonathan had just been sitting in before. "You haven't, Logan. He's just the way you were, when you first showed up here."

Logan slowly walked over, sitting down. He chewed on his thumb nail. "Jean said the same thing earlier," he commented. "I don't know, Charlie. In my gut, I'm.... actually worried for the little bugger."

Xavier's eyebrow lifted a little as the other man spoke, staring at him as he chewed on is nail. "Why do you think you're worried for Jonathan?" he prodded quietly.

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe he started to have a seizure whenever I touched him. Also, like you all say." Logan grinned, his eyes crinkling at the edges. "He's like I was."

"He had a seizure?" Charles asked, rather surprised.

He was quiet for a moment before smiling softly, "Jonathan has the power to see the past or the future, but only when it is very strong. He suggested, loosely, that he wanted to become... a detective."

Logan snorted, a faint smirk pulling at his lips as he leaned into his chair. "Detective, hmm? Well, that is an interesting lifestyle to choose." His smirk widened to a grin. His eye had a small twinkle. "Maybe I can show the ropes on how to blend in, to further help him along with his career. After all, I kept hidden for almost a decade~"

Charles resisted the urge to make a slight face at what Logan was saying.

He knew Jonathan wasn't the friendly type. "That would be a good idea, Logan, but Jonathan isn't the friend-making type. Are you sure you're willing to go the extra mile?"

Charles knew the two of them would be better for each other. Logan would be able to find everything out about himself eventually, and Jonathan would have someone he could trust and depend on.

"Come now, Charlie. I could handle being blasted through a window by our loveable Scott. I am fully confident into handling teenage hormones." He stood up and cracked his neck, then winced. "Speaking of which, I owe that man. I still have a crick in my neck from getting thrown through the wall."

He smiled. He enjoyed Logan's constant energy around the school.

Charles was, honestly, very happy that Logan had decided to stay at the school rather than pursue his history. "Just be careful," Charles said. The doors opened for Logan.

~~~~~~~~
Logan prayed to whatever high nature that is was a Saturday.
Meaning: No classes.
He had a pleasant smile to his face as he slowly padded outside, barefoot and comfortable. He fiddled with a package in his pocket, debating if he should bring it out and play.
Saturday, the day of his rest, the day he meditated all day. Jonathan had decided to wear his best suit for today, a black suit with a sleek, thin tie.
But he did not wear any socks nor shoes, figuring that was for work only.
Jonathan's toes splayed out on the wet, dew-y grass before curling up. He hummed quietly to himself, his eyes closed and his head tilting back slowly as his entire form gave off he was relaxed, completely unaware of everything around him, physically at least.
Logan stopped near a tree, about a few feet away from the sprawled kid.
He pulled his hand out of his pocket to bring out a shiny harmonica.
He rubbed the metal plating affectionately, before setting it to his lips. He blew a few practice notes, before slowly melting into a low tune, eyes closed in relaxation.
The so-rude noise startled him from his meditation as he heard that noise, whatever it was.
Jonathan quietly sat up on his behind before looking around.
The suit was sticking to him already. He sat up all of the way before standing up and looking for the source of the noise.
The notes flowed out of him like water. His body moved with each sharp tune, engrossed in his soulful music. Even with his enhanced hearing, Logan didn't hear Jonathan get up and walk over to him. He kept his eyes closed, face serene.
He stopped before Logan, allowing the man to finish his song before tilting his head to the side. "I didn't know you could play the Harmonica."
Logan smiled, staring down at his reflection on the instrument. "Took it up a few years ago. It's honestly one of my favorite things to do." He leaned against the tree, hooking his thumbs in his jean pockets. "It's very calming."
He thought about what Logan said, searching his mind, but it grew too much if a pain in his ass.
He just shook his head a little. "Right... have a good day, Professor." He turned around, moving back toward his spot he was in before.
Logan sighed softly.
He slid down the tree, sitting on the soft grass. He crossed his arms in front of his chest, leaning his head down and closing his eyes.
A few minutes went by, and Logan sounded like a motor-boat, completely dead to the world.
Jonathan hadn't gone far.
He sat up hearing the snoring and watched Logan slowly, closely.
The young student got off of the ground once more before looking about. No one else liked to be up this early or be outside this early either.
So, he walked over to Logan, watching him closer, studying his form before sitting down in front of him, pulling his legs to his body, his chin resting on his knees and his arms wrapped around his legs as he just stared, almost unblinking at the older mutant.
Logan kept on snoring, sleeping like a baby as he shifted to get comfortable. He grunted and snorted a bit, before he settled, quiet for now.
His feet were spread out in front of him. His toes curled, then uncurled. His mouth parted as he slept.
Jonathan's own eyes started to close as he got used to the sounds of Logan sleeping. It was rather calming really.
He enjoyed how... innocent Logan looked at that minute.
His chin tilted to the side slightly and his cheek started to rest on his knee. Jonathan's breathing slowed as he started to fall asleep.
John Allerdyce had decided that he wanted to have a small bake in the sun. To get his blood nice and hot.
Possibly pick a fight with Ice later on, too.
He was about halfway into the backyard when he heard a snort.
He walked around a tree to see Logan and ...that weird new kid, sleeping like babies.
John's eye twitched. His lip curled upwards as he struggled with himself. A loud snort of amusement flew out, breaking the dam as he busted out into wheezing giggles at the sight of bad-ass Logan in full cuddle-bear mode.
Jonathan snapped awake at the loud noise. He jumped up and wheeled around to face what made the noise.
Seeing some other student, horror washed over Jonathan and he stepped back a little, tensing as he tried not to panic.
Shit. Shit. He should of known better.
Logan instantly snorted awake, blinking his sleep away.
He looked at the giggling mutant with squinted eyes. "Whassamatta with you, giggle-gut?" he grumbled, not happy about being woken up.
John guffawed, holding his mouth. "Logie! You look so cute~!" John gushed in a fake falsetto voice.
Logan paused, then laughed. "Think I'll take that compliment."
Happy that he wasn't noticed, Jonathan turned on his heels quickly and started to walk away quickly.
How could he be so stupid? He thought to himself, quickly making it into the school and looking about to make sure no one was in his way, before he started toward his room.
Damn. Why did he even go and watch Logan in the first place?!
Ahhhhh, bonding, career choices, and fluff.
And harmonica playing, too.
That last bit was my fault. I saw Hardy's lips while I was listening to the Cowboy Bebop OST. They fused to make a song-playing baby~
And goddamn it, this set makes me want to hug the fuck out of Jon-boy 'til his eyes pop out.
